Bank of Canada Rate Decision — Press Conference

The Bank of Canada’s Governing Council meets eight times per year to set the overnight rate target. The announcement is followed by a press conference at which the Governor takes questions from journalists and analysts. The Monetary Policy Report, released quarterly alongside four of the eight decisions, provides the Bank’s full economic projection.
